Those vibrant hues of colourful leaves, the crunch of fallen leaves under our boots, and the way the air smells like adventure—it’s truly inspiring and is one of the best times of the year to scoop up your kiddos and dive into the creative beauty of autumn. I’m all about finding fun ways to make memories with little hands, and these easy fall nature crafts are the perfect way to do just that. Using natural materials like pine cones, acorn caps, and real leaves, these fun craft ideas spark creative thinking, build fine motor skills, and let kids of all ages play in the natural world. They’re eco-friendly fall crafts, mostly made up of free items from a fall nature walk or things you’d have around the house, so there’s no additional cost. Find a flat rock, piece of wood or piece of bark to use as the base. Have your little ones pile up sticks or stones to make walls, and you can hot glue into place. Use big leaves or bark for a roof or even use pinecones to make individual shingles. Add soft moss to make it cozy. Decorate with handmade furniture from nature or dollhouse furnishings.
