Thanks for stopping by! I’m the artist/potter from The Clay Moon Ceramics, wife, mama, and Christ follower. Welcome to my blog, the Midnight Mustard Seed, a place where we learn to make art and handmade goods of all kinds.
My pottery studio and art career began seven years ago in the garage of my first home. That small garage studio was filled with mistakes and wonder as I threw pot after pot on my handmade pottery wheel. I am a self-taught artist from a long line of self-taught craftsmen. I truly believe that anyone can learn any craft if they have the desire to do so!
My work has been heavily inspired by my faith and the search of finding peace and comfort in all seasons of life. My hope is that my art helps create a sense of coziness in the home because we all need a beautiful, safe space to live, grow, learn, and rest. Once we welcomed my little one into the world, the desire to nuture and create that safety and magic within my home grew exponentially. Children are such a gift and homemaking is a blessing. I would love nothing more than to teach other mothers and homemakers how to create a little magic in their own homes through their own artistic endeavors. So glad to have you here! Let’s get crafting!
